The Toyota TS050 Hybrid of the Spanish Fernando Alonso, who set the fastest lap of qualifying, will start from the pole position in the 1,000 Miles of Sebring, the sixth round of the World Endurance (WEC), which will be held this Friday in the quoted circuit of Florida (united States).

Alonso, who stopped the clock at one minute, 40 seconds and 124 thousandths -historical record of the circuit – and his fellow japanese Kazuki Nakajima averaged, the cover 6.019 metres from the historic -and very bumpy and broken – track us, a time of one minute, 40 seconds and 318 mils, 485 less than the average which they took out with the other Toyota, the 7, argentina’s José María ‘Pechito’ López and the English Mike Conway.

Alonso and Nakajima are leading, next to the swiss Sebastien Buemi -who was not involved in the qualification-, with the car number 8, the WEC with 102 points, five more than the other Toyota, that of ‘Pechito’ and Conway, who also pilots the japanese Kamui Kobayashi, who was ruled out of the qualifying main.
