VALENCIA, 12 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The heat wave of the past days gives way this Monday, August 12, to a lowered overall temperatures, especially the maximum in the south of Valencia, and occasional showers, which can be accompanied storm in the north of the Comunitat Valenciana.
After the peaks of more than 40 degrees of last week, the thermometer ranging between 33 and 23 degrees in Castelló de la Plana, 32 and 23 in Alicante capital, and 30 and 25 in Valencia as no active notices for heat throughout the region, according to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
The maximum most accused of this Monday is recorded predictably in the towns of alicante Orihuela and Elche, the latter in its festivities, with 35 and 33 degrees, respectively. On the contrary, the mercury will not pass 24 degrees and lower up to 12 in Morella (Castellón).
The day is marked by the intervals cloudy with occasional showers it does not rule out that they are accompanied by storm, more likely in the north of the valencian Community. Temperatures are in decline, notably in the case of the maximum in the south of Valencia. In the north of Castellón, the wind blows from the northwest, moderate; in the remainder, variable loose to component this moderate by the afternoon.
In the matter of forest fires, the Emergency Coordination Center 112 of the Generalitat Valenciana keeps in a red (extreme risk) the preemergencia throughout the region, with the exception of the coast of Valencia orange (high).
For this Tuesday, August 13, is expected again that the sky will continue cloudy with rain showers scattered, most likely in the south of the Region and risk the storms in the early hours in Alicante. Temperatures will continue to be in widespread decline.
