The writer, architect and artist, José María Pérez, Peridis, has received the Spring Novel prize by 2020 for “The heart with which I live”, according to the decision of the jury made public this Friday, highlighting their bet by “the immense value of the reconciliation.”
“It is a novel that, from a family drama that represents the great tragedy that was the Civil War, bet on the immense value of reconciliation”, says the jury-presided over by Carme Riera, and composed by Antonio Soler, Gervasio Posadas, Fernando Rodríguez Lafuente and Ana Rosa Semprún.
The Spring Novel prize, endowed with 100,000 euros, is convened by the editorial Espasa and Cultural Sphere of The English Court. To this twenty-fourth edition, we have presented 405 original, of which 191 were from Spain, a country that tops the list of participants is followed by Argentina (40) and Mexico (37).
