National Police agents have broken up a criminal organization and have arrested 11 people in Madrid and Malaga, allegedly dedicated to whitening luxury vehicles for use in a legal way. His illegal activity consisted in enrolling fraudulently high-end vehicles previously stolen in Germany and Czech Republic, and others, wrecked, acquired through auctions in the U.S. and Canada. To complete the formalities of registration were used documentation of Lithuania and falsified the identifying elements of passenger cars, in addition to fail to meet state and regional regulations approval, thus obtaining a greater benefit.
The investigation began late last year when it conducted an inspection, a dealer located in Marbella (Malaga), due to suspicions that they may be selling high-end vehicles at prices lower than those determined by the market. After the inspection, and with the information obtained in the course of several months, the investigations were focused on the people close to the establishment. Thanks to the collaboration of a patrol of the Municipal Police of Madrid, we identified two of the members of the group investigated, which circulated with a luxury vehicle registered fraudulently in Spain. The two that were identified were arrested and one of them extradited to Russia because it fell on him an order of search, arrest and imprisonment issued by the National court for a crime of fraud. In addition, among the effects brought by they are stepped in diverse documentation of Lithuania as well as license plates.
Agencies conniventes and stolen cars
Advanced the investigation the officers found that the organization had two different ways to get the vehicles. On the one hand, cars that had previously been abducted in Germany and in Czech Republic, to whom he forged the elements of identification and subsequently they matriculaban fraudulently in Spain using documentations of Lithuania. And on the other, they would purchase the vehicles at auctions of the USA and Canada and, once in our country, the matriculaban in breach of state and regional regulations established for the approval, obtaining in this way a higher profit.
They had, with the connivance of administrative agencies to accomplish the formalities of change of ownership of the vehicles to the prospective buyers who intended to purchase cars in good faith. Specifically, the agents had information of the existence of buyer, an iranian, that after paying more than 50,000 euros for a vehicle of high range finally failed to get the positive transaction of the vehicle to your name. In parallel, the agents had knowledge that the principal investigated was directing the sale of ten new cars, which had been previously stolen in the Czech Republic.

To locate and avoid the possible sale of the vehicles that had just arrived to our country from the Czech Republic was a device in The Line of the Conception (Cadiz), in the towns of malaga, Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara, and also in Malaga. Thanks to this device end, the researchers have managed to locate and arrest nine more people -two in Madrid and the rest in Malaga-. In addition they have recovered a total of 13 high-end vehicles, three of them in the first intervention valued at 220,000 euros and ten more, with a value of 520,000 euros, located in the second part of the operation in public, in private garages and in houses for sale.
