The PP basque denounced yesterday the eviction “urgency” of a clinic-residence of Vitoria with the aim of freeing up beds for patients with coronavirus. The popular advise that it is a measure of “impromptu” of the basque Government, which refuses to install on Alava a field hospital.
Specifically, the residence that has decided to evict the Department of Health is the IMQ Igurco Araba, whose tenants will be relocated to other centers of the territory on a temporary basis. Some of them, as confirmed from the health care area, received at this facility palliative care. The PP basque reported that their family members were informed this same Thursday of the situation and I was told that users had to leave the premises within 24 hours.
“It is unacceptable that while the basque Government disdains and discards unnecessary the help of units as the HEU empty in search of beds in a residence of elderly who were receiving care and special attention”, stressed in a joint press release Amaya Fernández, president of the party; and Leticia Comerón, a spokesman of the PP in Vitoria. In this sense, pointed out that this kind of situations demonstrate that “any help is dispensable”.
“It is urgent that the Executive Iñigo Urkullu react to it and allow solutions that do not only do not generate any prejudice to the basques, but that would help more lives in the Basque country”, have claimed Fernández and Comerón.
